Theatre-makers, performance people, visual virtuosos and clever creatives, do you have an exciting idea that could work on stage?
Library Theatre Company and The Lowry are on the hunt for innovative, inventive new storytellers from Greater Manchester to take part in Pitch Party on Friday 31 January as part of re:play Festival 2014.
Pitch Party welcomes a group of brave creatives to pitch exciting new ideas for stage performances in front of an audience and panel of industry experts. We would like to invite storytellers from a variety of art forms – from poetry to puppetry, mimes and musicians, ballerinas and b-boys – everyone is welcome. The winner will receive support from Library Theatre Company and The Lowry to help bring their project to life.
Previous winners include Gina Perry, Tuheen Huda and last year’s winner Tom Mason.
If you would like to get involved email us to tell us about your idea, how you might like to pitch at the event and a little bit about your background. We are open to submissions for projects which have not yet been staged and are at an ideas phase.
