HOME MOVIES

An evening of creative explorations of the moving image…

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

DEADLINE: 11:59 P.M. 17/02/2013

Home Movies is an evening of creative explorations of the moving image produced by LEAP in partnership with Ludus Dance as part of Lancaster Arts City’s First Friday initiative.

The project will seek to showcase short films from artists, filmmakers, dancers, choreographers, performers and visual artists.

We are currently welcoming submissions from people with a particular interest in contemporary video work which could be presented as part of a live event, or in smaller installation spaces (durational video pieces).

To propose a piece, please fill in a form from our website and send it back to submissions@talkwithleap.com by 11:59 P.M. on 17th February. We will endeavour to get in touch with all applicants in the following week.

For an informal discussion about your project, please contact Leo Burtin via email leo@talkwithleap.com or phone on 07584 177591 or Anthony Briggs on anthony.briggs@ludusdance.org or phone on 01524 35936.

Please note:

-       We cannot accommodate technically complex pieces (please get in touch for more details)

-       We will only consider proposals for films of up to 15 minutes

-       We welcome submissions that are not written (performance scores, video submissions, photography etc.); get in touch with Leo if you’d like to send your proposal in an alternative format.

-       The event will be run on a pay what you can basis for the audience and the profits will be shared between all participating artists.
