LudusThinks Experience Aria, Bramley

LudusThinks Experience Aria is an evening event, asking participants to take part in a series of conversations and reflections on their own and with others around Aria by Emma Critchley – it asks about Aria’s impact on their experience of coming to Bramley Baths, Bramley Baths impact on the local community and the value of the arts in the public realm. We welcome local people from in and around Bramley, artists, performers, community development workers and anyone else interested in the issues raised by the work.

 

Taken at your own pace, you’ll get to see the audio-visual installation, go for a swim, use the steam room and have conversations all around the baths with people who can talk about the artwork and the issues it brings up. The event culminates at 8.00pm with a sharing of your ideas, thoughts and experiences.

An evening discussion event, reflecting on Lifeboat by Institute for Crazy Dancing, its impact on the local community around Cross Flats Park and the value of the arts in the public realm.

We welcome local people from in and around Beeston and Cross Flatts, artists, performers, community development workers and anyone else interested in the issues raised by the work.

 

The event begins with short stimulating contributions from:

Followed by collaborative conversations, facilitated in a friendly and accessible manner by Sarah Spanton. In this discussion it is assumed that everyone present has something valuable to contribute, and following the opening presentations, small groups will be formed to discuss thoughts and ideas on the issues raised by Lifeboat.
