Professional development projects BY artists FOR artistsCALL FOR PARTICIPANTS
DIY10 is an opportunity for artists working in Live Art to take part in unusual training and professional development projects conceived and run BY artists FOR artists. To mark the tenth anniversary of DIY, 2013 is a bumper year with 23 projects for both emergent and experienced practitioners taking place across the UK between July and November 2013. DIY10 projects represent a wide variety of approaches and subjects including feminism, masculinity, cage fighting, lap dancing, revisiting regret, Elvis impersonators, socially engaged practices, online protest, Calamity Jane, sleepovers, rebirthing, and much, much more.
Applications are now welcomed for participation in all DIY10 projects. Application deadline for most projects: Sunday 9 June
(please note the earlier deadline of 30 May for Joshua Sofaer’s Soho Sideshow).
